Monumental carved European grand baroque white marble mantle and over mantle. The rosette and acanthus leaf corbels support the mythological “God of the North Wind” mask which is carved as the center focal point flanked by more rosettes and floral motif. The incredible over mantle shows resting male and female fiqures representing “Day and Night” flanked by musical carytids lifting an arched cabochon pediment with two reclining putti. This carved to death mantle and over mantle is one of the most ornate we offer. What a focal and conversation piece this work-of-art would make in the room of your choice.
